Our client is a leading US multinational company with extensive international operations. Due to ongoing expansion they currently require the services of an experienced HR Manager to support their company operations in Indonesia.
The HR Manager has a ultimate responsibility for all people based activity within the organisation from both an operational and strategic perspective. This role spans day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the HR Dept, covering recruitment & selection, manpower planning, compensation & benefits, payroll, performance management, training and issues related to labour legislation.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for day to day functioning of HR department
Provide advice and counseling in all disciplinary issues and well versed in Labour laws & Unions
To assist in administering payroll & overtime schedules
Responsible for plant recruitment and manpower planning
To handle all foreign worker matters for the plant
Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements pertaining to human relations
Be part of safety and health committee
To plan and handle yearly compensation & performance management exercise
To plan manage and execute plant training and development programs
Driving on-going diagnosis of the organisation, analyzing and reporting organisational issues and introducing holistic and effective interventions to address these issues
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
At least 8 years working experience, with current role as HR Manager
Experience working in MNC companies within the manufacturing sector
Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
Strong computer knowledge in word processing / database software e.g. Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills and networking.
Able to work independently and under pressure
Experience in managing Unions
